DFS is proud to announce the launch of its exclusive new VEGAN collection, offering customers five new PETA approved sofas, an armchair and a footstool, in a range of stylish colours and fabrics.

With 25% of Brits experimenting with a pro-vegan lifestyle and 91% of those Brits making a vegan purchase last year[1], the DFS VEGAN collection has been created to meet a growing consumer desire for vegan products. In fact, according to DFS research alongside YouGov, 17% of people are looking to style their living rooms with vegan furniture in 2022. DFS wants to enable customers to choose a sofa that aligns with their values and lifestyle choices. If vegan is your thing then DFS has a sofa for you.

Crucially, the range doesn’t compromise on comfort, style, or quality, offering the authority and credibility of PETA’s endorsement while encapsulating the same high level of quality that DFS is known for.

Thoughtfully created to offer customers the greatest variety possible, the range comprises of five brand new sofa designs: Willow, Mulberry, Cypress, Larch and Cedar, in addition to a chair and footstool. The mix of styles, including Classic, Straight Arm, Traditional and Mid Century have a deliberately unique look and feel, so customers can opt for a sofa that matches their interior decoration style, offering them a broad choice that’s free from animal products.

If a modern, minimalist aesthetic is your thing, the Larch model could be a perfect match with its clean lines and simplistic design. Alternatively, the Cedar is well suited to those that prefer a more traditional, period look, with its button backed detailing and winged armrests. Whatever your thing is, DFS has designed a sofa for you.

For even greater variety, each sofa design is also available in a choice of three fabrics; Woodland plain is a faux leather fabric, Meadow plain is a textured weave and Animal pattern is a printed pattern design on soft and sumptuous cloth. There is also the option to choose from a range of colors, spanning stylish animal prints such as leopard and zebra, through to sophisticated neutrals such as cream and light grey.

Lou Petersen, Brand Director at DFS comments, “Interior design decisions have typically centered around comfort and style, but these are no longer the only deciding factors – many of our customers are increasingly prioritising products which align with their personal values. With vegan and vegetarian consumers set to make up 25% of the UK population by 2025[2], it’s important that DFS can provide options and choice for all customers, which is why we are proud to have developed the DFS VEGAN range, the first furniture manufacturer to introduce a full collection of vegan sofas.”
