Travel meets high-fashion with Flight Centre’s ‘Travel Runway’

Not unlike fashion, travel is engaging, carefully curated and life-changing. Taking influence from high-fashion runways and the plethora of looks unveiled at shows, Flight Centre, one of the largest travel agencies in the world, has created Travel Runway to inspire fashion-conscious travellers keen to get away for a post-Covid break.

Live from 9 November, Travel Runway is an immersive video experience where viewers will be encouraged to choose their own adventure, with categories including beach, nature, food and wine, adventure, and luxury. For each runway, viewers are encouraged to ‘shop the look’ to choose their dream trips, while clicking through products, tips, and valuable insights.

Travel Runway was developed taking inspiration from high-fashion runways and the carefully curated looks unveiled at engaging shows, inspiring the trends of the next season. A collection of the most lust-worthy destinations and travel experiences across the globe, Travel Runway is designed to re-ignite the senses to the world of travel after months cooped up at home, inspiring and educating travellers to aid them in planning their best holiday yet.

In 2022, luxury travel won’t simply be about staying in the fanciest 5* hotels with the best views. Luxury is redefined for the post Covid era with bespoke experiences, with tailor-made travel becoming the most sought-after travel trend. Travel Runway’s looks encapsulate the latest in high fashion travel, with guided flavour trails in the heart of Tokyo, self-drive tours through California to visit unspoilt lakes and unknown lodges, and bespoke spa experiences in the most exclusive hotels in Mexico.

Viewers can also ‘Meet the Designers’ through a series of clips explaining how thousands of Flight Centre’s travel designers used their outlook on travel to curate the selection of looks in the runway.

Travel Runway is free and open to anyone to rediscover their love of travel. Travellers can access travel runway here
