This Valentine’s Day, Firmdale Hotels’ individually designed and charming Townhouse Hotels in London are offering a special overnight stay. Guests will step into a beautifully designed bedroom, where they can take a moment to enjoy the colourful and playful interiors by Kit Kemp.

The scene will be set with a chilled bottle of Bollinger Brut Rosé Champagne and a special welcome gift. In the morning, guests will enjoy a leisurely start to the day in the hotel restaurant or with breakfast in bed at Knightsbridge Hotel. Savour a special Valentine’s Day menu in The Potting Shed at Dorset Square Hotel or afternoon tea in The Orangery at Number Sixteen.

This year, guests can celebrate the value of friendship and family with an extra special Valentine’s Day menu at Firmdale Hotels’ restaurants and bars across London. The evening will start with a welcome glass of Rosé Champagne and a selection of canapés at the restaurant of their choice.

A three-course menu begins with an irresistible starter including a choice of burrata with chilli and oregano, marinated scallops with blood orange and beef tartare served with egg yolk and sourdough toast. A selection of seasonal dishes and traditional favourites follow such as lobster and crab tortellini, saffron poached artichokes served with potato mousseline and a venison wellington to share.

To end the evening, visitors can enjoy a delicious dessert such as rhubarb and blood orange pavlova or a blood orange cheesecake with rose and pistachio.

Visitors to Number Sixteen, situated in the heart of lively South Kensington can choose to spoil their loved ones this Valentine’s Day with a special afternoon tea for the occasion. Starting with a glass of Bollinger Brut Rosé before a delicious selection of savoury specials are served including lobster cocktail as well as egg mayonnaise and black truffle finger sandwiches. Sweet treats include polenta and blood orange drizzle cake.
